We invite you all to register to the online workshop that Raya U.D. will teach for Asociación Mexicana de Yoga Iyengar (Mexican association of Iyengar Yoga) in September 18th, 19th, 25th & 26th 2021, via Zoom. It will have simultaneous translation into Spanish.

Iyengar Yoga: Exploration The Weaving Act

RAYA UMA DATTA

Raya began practicing yoga at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune at a very young age. In his early twenties, Guruji told Raya to study with him directly, after he gave an asana demonstration in celebration of Guruji’s 80th birthday. Raya remained close to Guruji for the rest of his life, teaching general classes at the RIMYI, and accompanying him to Russia in 2009 and China in 2011.  all who have encountered Raya describe his great passion for teaching and how his closeness to Guruji radiates outwards. Raya has a MA in Philosophy, and as an outstanding yoga practitioner brings sensitivity and an incredible energy to accompany each one of his classes.
Raya teaches in English and Spanish translation will be given.
Basic knowledge of Iyengar Yoga is required, a minimum of a year of practice. Anyone qualified can participate, for any part of the world.
The link to the class will be sent a day before, by email.
No recording is allowed. AMYI will send a recording to the registered participants and will be available for five days so you can keep practicing.
